The pad-mounted design provides all the functionality of the traditional round-tank regulators with the convenience of pad mounting and dead-front connectivity for underground systems. A smaller footprint means lower construction costs, while the physical profile presented to the public is more attractive
We currently offer the following pad-mounted ratings
- Single phase 38 to 667 kVA
- Three phase 114.3 to 1300 kVA
The pad-mount voltage regulator control box is mounted on the door of the operational side of the cabinet for easy access. As the operator uses the control, the gauges and the position indicator are in clear view. The junction box has a side door for the operator to access the terminal block for the connections from the oil tank to the control cable. The control is connected from the control box to the junction box with a quick-disconnect control cable, for easy removal. The current transformer is automatically shorted when the cable is removed.
