iGR-933 Rotating Equipment Isolation Device

Secure and protect your high value rotating equipment with the Cooper Power Systems iGR-933 Rotating Equipment Isolation Device (R.E.I.D.) Idea relay. This fully developed and tested hardware and software solution is available today and can be easily installed and integrated into existing or newer systems.

PROTECTION FEATURES

As seen in recent published news reports via major media outlets, the need to protect high value and long lead-time rotating equipment (generators, motors, etc.) from unwanted or unauthorized manipulation of existing digital protective devices or systems is considered a significant cyber security issue. Upon detection of an intentional or un-intentional exploitation of an existing protection gap, the iGR-933 R.E.I.D. relay is designed to take immediate action to protect and isolate affected rotating equipment. The R.E.I.D. Idea relay is more than a synchronism relay as it also detects equipment isolation due to remote breaker operation.
