M-HIB3 Bus Differential Relay
The M-HIB3 is a compact 3-phase differential relay with a dual slope percentage bias restraint characteristic designed to provide very high speed clearing of bus faults. Both high and low set differential elements are provided. To increase the relay's flexibility, the differential elements may be restrained based on the 2nd harmonic content of the through current. This enables the differential zone to include power transformers. Two levels of through fault overcurrent elements are also provided.

The Edison M-LIB System
The M-LIB system is a scalable, modular low impedance bus
differential system that:
- Accommodates any number of supply lines and feeders.
- Accommodates single bus and double bus applications.
- Provides an optional third, overall, check bus zone of protection
- Automatic CT saturation detection.
- Automatic bus reconfiguration.
- Programmable dual slope differential elements.
