Rack-Mounted Form 6 Control Upgrades Simplify Coos Curry Substations
Coos Curry Electric Cooperative of Oregon is upgrading its substations with Form 6 recloser controls. The user-friendly control is easy for line crews to interpret, and it accommodates SCADA. One Form 6 control replaces overcurrent relays, a neutral overcurrent relay, a reclosing relay, meters, and a breaker control switch. And, says Operations Superintendent Dale Wilson, "When we need help, you help us."
