Part of Cybectec Enterprise Solutions, Cybectec Enterprise Passthrough Manager provides an enterprise-level secure single point of access to IEDs for maintenance and engineering. Enterprise Passthrough Manager is comprised of a client, installed on users’ workstations, and a server, installed in a central location, which manages connections between remote IEDs and users on the corporate network.

With Enterprise Passthrough Manager, users can access IEDs via native vendor tools, with comprehensive access control.

• Users can connect to any substation IED to which they have access
• Connection parameters, password and communication encryption is preconfigured in Enterprise Passthrough Manager: users connect as if they were in the substation

Secure remote access

• Central security ensures that only authorized users are allowed to connect to IEDs
• When used with SMP Gateway, local security at the substation level protects IEDs from unauthorized access in the event that the link to the corporate servers is down
• Enterprise Passthrough Manager uses Cybectec Security Server’s link to the corporate security infrastructure to authenticate users, using two factor authentication if available
