Frequency of Recloser Maintenance
In the absence of specific operation experience, use the following guideline to establish maintenance intervals:

• Oil-interrupting reclosers should be maintained at least every three years
• Oil-insulated vacuum interrupting reclosers should be maintained every six years
• Air-insulated vacuum interrupting reclosers should be maintained every six years
