Our Transformer Products Group leads the industry with over
50 years of experience in design innovation, product development and quality
manufacturing. At our plants in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Lumberton, Mississippi and Nacogdoches, Texas, we manufacture a complete line of single-phase and three-phase overhead
transformers, single-phase and three-phase pad-mounted transformers, single-phase and
three-phase substation transformers, single-phase overhead and pad-mounted step voltage
regulators, single-phase auto-boosters, and R-Temp® and Envirotemp® FR3
fire-resistant transformer fluids.
Our products have a field-proven track record for
durability and reliability that is recognized as the best in the industry. Our commitment
to the future is demonstrated by our continuing investment in facilities, product and
process improvements. They include the installation of the industrys most
sophisticated coating system, which provides a long-life paint finish you dont have
to worry about. We have also invested in new core and coil designs, tank fabrication and
state-of-the-art test equipmentall designed to increase transformer reliability, cut
losses, and save you money.
Our commitment to innovation is demonstrated by our ongoing
development of new products, including the single-phase pad-mounted voltage regulator
which provides all the functionality of the traditional round tank regulator with the
convenience of padmounting; the Factory Mutual Approved R-Tran Transformer, the first
"Code Listed" liquid-filled transformer; the VFI transformer that combines a
conventional transformer with the Kyle Vacuum Fault Interrupter to provide voltage
transformation and overcurrent protection in one space-saving and money-saving package;
and the Envirotran Transformer that is filled with Envirotemp FR3, an edible seed
oil-based dielectric coolant that combines the benefits of enhanced fire safety with the
superior environmental characteristics of edible oils.
Our transformers cores and coils are designed and
manufactured to provide optimum field performance. Advanced quality management, combined
with exhaustive testing, assures our customers of the most reliable performance and the
industrys lowest failure rate. Our certified manufacturing facility, combined with
our leadership in transformer design, ensures the highest quality transformer. All
transformers are tested to ANSI C57.12.90 and include: Impulse, Applied Potential, Induced
Potential, Loss tests and Leak tests. Additional tests are performed on each design to
ensure that performance will meet all applicable industry standards.
