The GN3 and GN3V sectionalizers provide economical and automatic sectionalizing for three-phase distribution lines. Decades of proven service have demonstrated the reliability of these sectionalizers used throughout the world to provide automatic fault isolation.
A simple internal mechanism, similar to the GH sectionalizer, operates the GN3 and GN3V sectionalizers. The mechanism provides independent phase counting and three-phase tripping for coordinated application with reclosers such as Cooper Power Systems 6H or V6H reclosers.
