Transformer Switches
Series Multiple Switches
Cooper Power Systems offers a variety of single-phase and three-phase series multiple 50A,
150A and 300A switches that reconnect parallel transformer windings in series, resulting
in a higher winding ratio with a simple turn of the switch on the de-energized the
transformer. Most voltage combinations can be accommodated with the RTE basic dual-voltage
switch. Special multi-layer (stacked) switches permit other combinations, including triple
voltages.
Tap Changer Switches
Cooper Power Systems offers an externally operable tap changer switch to regulate voltage
at the transformer as lines are extended and load grows. 100A, 150A and 300A tap changer
switches are available.
Sectionalizing Loadbreak Switches
Cooper Power Systems offers a variety of sectionalizing loadbreak switches that transfer
pad-mounted apparatus from one source to another without loss of service continuity.
During outages service can be restored to customers quickly and easily with this
under-oil, loadbreak, sectionalizing switch. it is ideally suited to underground
residential applications with loop feed, or three-phase commercial and industrial
installations.
